A meadow where the car park was

How 1.2 hectares of tarmac became a wildflower meadow, a pond and a playground in three seasons.

The car park was the last piece of the old yard. In spring 2025 the tarmac came up, the soil went in, and the meadow was sown in May.

The pond

The frogs found it in a week. The pond collects rain from the market hall’s roof.

The playground

Built from beams that came out of the warehouses during the restoration.
